Italian researchers examined the relationship between alcohol consumption and long-term survival in 1,536 men aged 45-65. The results show that about two (2) years of life are gained by moderate drinkers (1-4 drinks per day) in comparison with occasional and heavy drinkers.
Drinking in moderation, exercising, and not smoking were all found to be associated with greater life expectancy. Ok I know all this stuff really isn't much to go on its still under research and stuff. I'm just saying there is nothing wrong with drinking alcohol in moderation! I mean come on you become addicted to anything. And i'm just pointing this out so no one can say you shouldn't drink alcohol cuz you could become addicted to it and it does nothing for you. did that make sense? I'm not saying i'd drink alcohol but if your of legal age and don't drive after you drink it then i think its fine!
Well nothing much has been going on with me recently except school and helping my mom redo the bathroom. Today I went to the Keddie's (sp?) open house. Pastor Keddie attacked me with a duck head. It was a real one too, and he was telling everyone how he stuffed it and everything, and everyone else thought it was really interesting. But when he got to how you take out the brains and stuff I just thought it was really really really nasty! The cookies there were really good though! Then I painted are bathroom. And well are bathroom looks sorta good I mean its really the first thing i've ever painted almost completely by myself. My mom did some of it. But it still needs another coat so maybe it will look better!
You never know how many towels are in the closet until you have to use all of them! Yep are house got flooded! See we're remodleing are bathroom, and well my mom didn't quite get the water turned off. So she unscrewed the cap and water sprayed all over the place. It was boiling hot water to. Then my dad called.
Dad: Can I talk to your mom.
Me: um now really isn't a good time the house is kinda flooded.
Dad:What?
Me: Can she call you back.
Well the water dripped through two floors and yeah it was pretty bad but nothing was really damged, except are ceiling which is slightly discolored now in spots! Oh and let me tell you a laundry basket full of wet towels is heavy!
grrrrrr the people in my ochestra class annoy me. Well not all of them just like 4. Well we had a student teacher and she's been teaching us this entire a week, and they purposely mess up just to make her think she's a bad teacher. Oh and the other day one of are songs sounded really bad and she was Just like it sounded so good the other day when you played it for Miss Levin what happened. And someone goes maybe that just means your a bad teacher! grrr
Wowzers I haven't updated for a while. ok well here's whats been happening in my exciting life. Tuesday Spanish started, and we had to write a paragraph in what we did over the summer in spanish. Then for ochestra I had to make a name tag, because there's a student teacher there and she doesn't know are names other then school that pretty much all that happened.
Wednesday I went to the State Fair with Grace, Charity, Allen, Zachary, Maria, Mary H, Luke, and Joe my brother. It was so much fun we rode the rides all day, and I don't care what anyone says about that I thought it was fun just cuz different people enjoy different things so some people might not enjoy doing that but everyone there did.
Thursday I don't think anything really happened besides we started actually playing in ochestra.
Friday there was movie night so I was home by myself until Mia and Rebekah came and got me cuz they wanted to go to the very end of movie night. So I went with them.
Saturday was the bike trip. Charity, Maria, Grace, Julia, Jonny, Patrick, Nathan, Joel, Jeremy, Sarah, and me were the people who went. Before we started there was this really cute dog and it was so cute, but then it got kinda annoying cuz it kept on getting in are way and stuff but oh well. At Dairy Queen a guy gave Charity a free blizzard. Ok I know Charity's gona kill be if I don't explain so here it is. Well Grace went and ordered a blizzard and the guy thought she had ordered 2 so he gave charity the extra one. Then Charity, Maria, Grace, and me went to the sturms for a bible study. We watched 13 going on 30. It was a pretty good movie, but the whole i'm 13 and now i'm 30 thing was just weird. And as Charity pointed out its kinda dumb she got married when she had the mind of a 13 year old but oh well. Oh and Isaac left.
Sunday I went to church of course. Then at lunch my mom kept on calling for Isaac and Joe to come up and I was just like mom Ice is gone. It was funny. Then that night this guy (i'm not even going to try and spell his last name) Talked about Yemen.
and today well I went running and this dog followed me home. So my mom looked at the tags and well she called the owners and its gone now but let me tell you my dog made a huge deal out of it she was running around the house barking and stuff yeah.
Natiness!! Last night my dog came up to me with a scarf or something in her mouth (or so I thought) So I tried to pull it out (cuz she really isn't supposed to be chewing on that stuff) and she drops it and runs off. I jump back cuz there are these 2 baby rabbits covered in blood and I touched them!!!! It was the nastiest thing. I mean I know a lot of dogs do that, but that is the first time my dog has ever brought something in are house. Well onto bigger and brighter things! Ian Thorpe beat Michael Phelps! grrrrr I mean Ian Thorpe is just like haha I'm so cool cuz they call me the thorpedo (or whatever it is). Well I guess thats really not brighter things, but right now all I can really think about is school bla! Anyways Hannah left today! Oh yeah and beloved (sarcasm) Spanish and Ochestra starts tomorrow! Ok i'm done with ranting about how much I dislike (not hate) school on this blog so Hannah don't lecture me! So anyways last night Hamelot and Anita Opazo (sp?) Talked about Kuwait! They talked about how the people there thought that The prisoner abuse thing was a good thing and that the prisoners deserved it! Which isn't really true its just the news Media keeps on saying That the Iraqi's hate the American Soldiers and stuff. And that is one of the things that is going to detroy this country. the 3 things are Politicians, News Media, and actresses that go through plastic surgery just so they can follow a fashion trend. Grr so anyways last night at church Anita and Hamelot brought these date things from Iraq and we were eating them so Mr. Sturm comes over.

Wowzers I haven't posted in a while!! Well on Wednesday we had the Bible Bowl Party! Finally, so now everyone can quit asking me when it is! Well anyways we had pineapple pizza which if you ask me is good, but everyone else thought I was gross!! then we playey everylasting knockout and capture the flag, in the dark. It was fun at first cuz Maria and me were rolling around and everything. But then all of are team got in jail except Katie. So we played I never!!! Then Maria and Charity spent the night and screamed a lot to! It was so funny, we were lying in bed talking about Aliens and scary stuff (Aliens aren't really scary I know, but in some movies they are) the lights are out and everything to. So Rebekah opens the door and we scream so loud, cuz we thought the aliens were coming to get us or something! It was sooooo funny. Then Hannah comes back from Holiday World, and freaks us out. She wasn't to happy to see us!! Heheh I wonder why. Then I went and spent the night at the Blackwoods. We did Mrs. Blackwoods hair and makeup, and she looked prettiful if you ask me! But Mr. Blackwood didn't notice! OH we watched the dumbest movie in the world! At the end you find out this guy is an angel, and earlier in the movie he was like making out with this one person. I mean seriously what is an angel doing making out with some human?!?!?!? Other then the ending it was pretty good though! We went to Value City and Charity and me tried on dresses! Oh my word I tried on the ugliest dress! It was like a yellow strapless dress and it was soooooooooo incredibly ugly!! Oh and we saw Raising Helen. That is a great movie! Much better then the Village. OH I meant to warn people not to waste their money to see the Village. That is the most retarded movie I have ever seen. The serious parts are funny how awful is that. So anyways today Hannah after making my arm pratically fall off, by making me carry all her stuff downstairs. Beat me at Hand and foot. And that is pretty much all that has happened to me (that I can remember) since Monday!

No don't worry I haven't abondoned my position about it being retarded to have a boyfriend when your my age! I went to Six Flags with my family today, and we rode the ferris Wheel ( or as they call it there the Giant Wheel) and that was written on my seat!!!!!! HEHEHE I thought it was funny!! The only problem with Six Flags is the lines are really really long!!! One of the lines was really annoying, cuz this girl in front of me was talking about how she needed to lose 50 pounds, cuz she hates being fat cuz guys don't like fat girls! It was really annoying. I mean first off she wasn't really fat, second off its not really a good reason to lose weight just cuz guys don't like fat girls. I mean seriously wouldn't you rather have someone like you for you personality then your looks. I mean if someone likes you for your looks then its just like you some item on a shelf,waiting to be bought, Then third off she looked like she was my age, doesn't she have anything better to do with her time then worry about whether guys like her or not!! grrrrrr I'm sorry but girls like that annoy me, all they think that matters in life is looks!! Ok on to a brighter note, my dad and mom, Joe , Rebekah, and me went on the merry go round. Isaac just watched, and whenever I went by I waved to him, and he turned around and pretended he didn't know me. It was sooooo funny!! Then we all went to movie night. I didn't really want to go, but I kinda had to. But oh well I got M&M's! OH and the Cerbuses neighbors girlfriend backed into the good ol' suburban so now you can't open the left side passenger door. Yep pretty much the only thing that still works well in that car is the engine. There's holes from rust and everything!!! Oh you gotta love that car! Well I need to go to bed so adious!
Ok I thought I told everyone this, but I guess their siblings don't do a very good Job of communicating! THE BIBLE BOWL PARTY IS NOT ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! WE STILL DON'T KNOW WHEN WE'RE HAVING, BUT HOPEFULLY SOMETIME NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!
OK I'm finally updating about the bike trip and Calvin
BIKE TRIP! The first day the evil Grace knocked Joe (my brother) off his bike. That night we stayed at the Kokomo Church. We went to Walgreen, and everyone was staring at me, cuz I was wearing Charity's frilly cherry pajamas. hehe. I thought it was funny.
The second day was the best day. Grace, Liz and me were off by ourselves cuz we were to slow for the 3rd group, and to fast for the 4th. We rode through this Amish place. These cute amish kids started following us on their bikes. Liz asked if they were joining us and the little girl was just like yes. It was soooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!! Then we rode through the rain which was fun. We stayed at the Napanee Missions Church. We had the best room, and when we got there Liz, Grace, and me ( I'm going to start referring to us 3 as the 3 musketeers) started leaping around, and someone said ( I forget who) You're degrading the church. It was soooooooo funny. OH that day also we biked through Hickville (the place is actually called Mentone) Well the people at the gas station were just like You biked all they from Indianapolis to here today. And your going to Grand Rapids I don't think your going to be able to do all that in one day. It was soooooooooo funny. Then they went out and stared at are bikes like they had never seen bikes before!!
The 3rd day was the worst cuz it was really cold early in the morning, everyone was getting lost, and I think everyone was ready to get there, but they knew we still had another day. Well we ate lunch at a really pretty spot. Well we ran out of bread, and people were going through line for seconds. Well Mr. Treese decided to make Jam and Cheese rollups (cheese with jam rolled up) Well Charity and me decided to see who could eat one faster. OH my word they were the nastiest things I had ever tasted in my life!!!!! Plus it was American Cheese and both me and Charity hate American Cheese. We both spit them out.
The last day. Was pretty good, but I don't think it was the best cuz everyone was tired and everything. At lunch Liz, Grace, Charity, Maria, Addie, and me were having this competition to see who could go there and back the most on one of those glidey thingys. Who know the things that you hold on to and someone pushes you to the other side. Well I did 3 and fell off on my face. They were all laughing at me. It was sooooooooooo funny. Then I did it again and only did 2 and half and fell on my face!!! Then later on I stopped at a stoplight, and my brakes squeaked sooooo loud. Everyone turned around and stared at me, and Emily was just like "well Hi Mary" it was soooooooooo funny. When we got there everyone cheered it was sooooooooooo great!!!
Oh yeah Mr. Hanson is to Cheerful and 5:30 in the morning. Every morning he would come in and be like Rise And Shine and that was followed by several groans!!!
CALVIN Well at the Calvin opening ceremony's thingy. I went in late, and leaned up against the wall, and the lights go out. I turn around and there is the light switch. So I have to go up to the people in charge and tell them what happened cuz they were trying to figure it out. Oh my word it was sooooooooooooooo embarrassing I was so red!!! Oh and Maria and me decorated are room with Now and later wrappers. Using gum to hang them on the wall! The 2nd day we played I never all afternoon and that was fun. I'm pretty sure that night was the night the guy that preached on psalm singing who made me really mad preached to. A New Song sang for everyone there to. Maria, Liz and me were laughing through the entire thing so hard that we had to leave. I'm not sure about what though. The 3rd day At class I convinced 3 people to change their mind on something, and I really had no idea what I was talking about I was just kind babbling on. It was sooooooooo funny. At the talent night these one guys sung We are the Pirates who don't do anything. It was sooooooooooo funny. Then my brother and his friends did his Calamarie brothers act. Then Maria, Liz, and me started rolling around in the grass, and spinning around, and we were just like the name is Blonde, Jane Blonde. It was soooooo much fun!!! The 4th day That morning I went running and I smelled something very interesting then I saw a skunk. We had the Bible Bowl that day to. Then Charity, Maria, Ellen, Libby, Liz, Charlotte, Mary H. And me went to the basement and told corny jokes. Here is the best one. There was a muffin and there was a girl, and the girl ate the muffin!!! Maria and me told that to Hannah and Anna later and we liked died laughing and they were giving us the weirdest looks it was sooooooo funny!!! The Five Fine Fat cows hung up this sign that said, Go 3F cows. Well Maria, Grace, Liz and me went up and crossed out 3F cows and put Adams Rib. Then we bribed to little kids to hang up signs on the guys doors that said, I'm rooting for Adams Ribs!! The 5th day we had Bible Bowl stuff again, one of the questions was what was what did God create first, and the answer was sky. My team was so mad cuz we had already used up are challenge, but luckily the judges challenged for us. Hey everyone and God said,"Let there be sky"!!! We made it to the final four and lost. But the 3F cows won!!!!!!!!! It was soooooo much fun sitting in the audience cheering for them here is one of are cheers. who let the cows out. moo moo moo moo!! Then we had to sit through this concert thingy and Liz and me were throwing paper airplanes cuz it was soooooooooo boring, but it was one of those things that was required!!! Then a bunch of people played Phycyatrist, and we were being the people to are right. So I was Joe, it was sooooooo funny, cuz I was like drumming, shaking my hair, and scratching my "beard"!!!!!!!!! It was fun!! Joe was giving me the evilest looks through all of it!!! The 6th day Grace and me stayed up till two. um The closing ceremonys were ok. It was soooooooo unfair the younger kids got hats, My class didn't get any hats!!!! The last day Liz came and woke me up I thought it was Charity for some reason. I threw my pillow at her. Hehehe Sorry liz!!! Then we spent an hour trying to get out of the parking lot. Oh I also found a bathtub, and I was so mad I found it on the last day. I mean not that I like taking baths or anything. Its just that through the entire conference I could of known I could of if I wanted to!!! Thats all!!!
